I Love Turkey Day, Plus Book Giveaway

Yes, I do. :) It isn't just preparing and consuming all the delicious food, both traditional and new that I love. It's spending time with my relatives. I have cousins that i don't see but once or twice per year, and that's during the holidays. I'm an admitted foodie. :) There's just something about sitting around a table passing dishes you've put your heart and energy in to preparing. :) Seeing those you love enjoy what you've put so much love in to making brings me a great deal of happiness. :) When it comes to holiday dishes, I love the traditional favorites, pumpkin pie for instance. If I don't have a piece for Thanksgiving dinner, I feel like somethng's missing. How about you? What's your favorite dishes you must have during this time of year? Leave a comment for a chance to win a copy of my new release, Holiday Jinx from either Smashwords Kindle or Nook Don't forget to leave your email address so I can contact you. I'll draw the winner using Random.org. Contest ends midnight, Sunday, November 25. Good luck! Holiday Jinx blurb: It’s the most wonderful time of the year…unless you’re single and lonely. Jinx—one of Santa’s elves—is in trouble with the Big Guy. She’s been charged with bringing holiday happiness to Christopher Ragan, CEO of Wondrous Toys. It’s a big job especially when he’s more attached to the bottom of a bottle than helping his fellow man. She’s got enough trouble without spilling the secrets of the North Pole, but then along comes Natalie Burnes, a newbie CEO of Enchanted Toys and in trouble of a hostile takeover from Christopher’s company. The woman literally crashes Christopher’s vacation plans in a tucked away Michigan cabin---and the sparks start flying. As if Jinx’s job of matchmaking the toy makers isn’t hard enough, she’s got to stay one step ahead of the North Pole patrol and keep out of sight of the humans. No way is she gonna screw up and lose her magic again. If the humans can’t find happiness and love by Christmas, Jinx forfeits her chance of seeing her true love too. What’s an elf to do?

What I HAVE to have at Thanksgiving is my mother's cornbread dressing. So yum!

Thank you ladies all for commenting and sharing your favorite holiday dishes with me!
Along with pumpkin pie, I love the turkey. I don't eat it much during the year, so having it for this holiday helps put me in the holiday spirit.
Now on to the winner...
Cynthia, you're it. I'll be emailing you shortly! :)
