Happy New Year's Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog!

So glad you’ve found me! Happy New Year! Hope you’re enjoying the hop! For me, the New Year brings time for reflection on the previous year, what I’ve accomplished. I see how I did meeting the goals I set for myself and where perhaps I fell short. How about you? How do you measure up in meeting those so-called New Year’s resolutions? No judgement here. LOL I have a difficult time keeping up with some of them too. Mainly exercise. That’s why I’m looking in to ballroom dancing this upcoming year.

My giveaway

If you leave a comment telling me of some of your New Year’s resolutions, I’ll put your name in the kitty to win a $10 gift card to Starbucks. If you do leave a comment on the over 200 blogs in this hop, you'll have a chance to win one of three grand prizes. The blog hop hostess, Carrie Ann Ryan will choose the winner the day after the blog hop closes. So what are these prizes? 1st Grand Prize: A Kindle Fire or Nook Tablet 2nd Grand Prize: A $300 Amazon or B&N Gift Card 3rd Grand Prize: A Swag Pack that contains paperbacks, ebooks, 50+ bookmarks, cover flats, magnets, pens, coffee cozies, and more! It’s cold where I live. Why not curl up with a book, mine or one or many of the awesome books from the many fabulous authors participating in this hop and have a cup of Joe or tea at your elbow while you’re at it? It doesn’t need to be my release, but I’m going to give you the deets anyway. *grin*

Holiday Jinx

Blurb: It’s the most wonderful time of the year…unless you’re single and lonely. Jinx—one of Santa’s elves—is in trouble with the Big Guy. She’s been charged with bringing holiday happiness to Christopher Ragan, CEO of Wondrous Toys. It’s a big job especially when he’s more attached to the bottom of a bottle than helping his fellow man. She’s got enough trouble without spilling the secrets of the North Pole, but then along comes Natalie Burnes, a newbie CEO of Enchanted Toys and in trouble of a hostile takeover from Christopher’s company. The woman literally crashes Christopher’s vacation plans in a tucked away Michigan cabin---and the sparks start flying. As if Jinx’s job of matchmaking the toy makers isn’t hard enough, she’s got to stay one step ahead of the North Pole patrol and keep out of sight of the humans. No way is she gonna screw up and lose her magic again. If the humans can’t find happiness and love by Christmas, Jinx forfeits her chance of seeing her true love too. What’s an elf to do? Check out the book trailer Buy it at Smashwords Kindle Print Nook iTunes

I don't really make resolutions. For me they tend to be something that is so far down the line or so broad that it's hard to meet. So if I do somthing, I try to take baby steps.

Mary Doherty said...

I stopped making New Year resolutions years ago. I just kept setting myself up for failure, so why keep doing it.

Angi said...

Well, I can't say "read more" because if I did that, I'd have to quit my job! LOL My resolution is to share at least 1 book a month with a different friend. Whether it's digital or print, I'll share my great finds this year with at least 12 friends! Thanks.

I don't make resolutions because I usually break them or don't keep them so what's the point. LOL I just say to myself i'm going to be the best person I can be this year.

Ronda Tutt said...

I use to do resolutions when I was younger but now I am much older I've lost interest in it mainly because as the year goes by I lose the focus on the goal. LOL

So this year, my resolution is not to have one, just live life one day at a time and hope good karma comes back around and returns the favor. LOL

Happy New Year
